Detox From Neuronormativity
A 2-hour course for adult auDHDers who want to recognize their own internalized shame & oppression so they can start to break the patterns of masking, people pleasing, and perfectionism that keep them stuck.

It feels like you’ve been trying to heal your trauma for years.
You’ve been to countless therapists, support groups, and read what feels like all of the self-help books. But none of it ever seems to stick.
You keep falling back into the same patterns of ignoring your own needs, making sure you're there for everyone around you all the time, and never taking the next step for fear of doing it “wrong.”
And this whole time, you’ve felt like there was something else lurking beneath the surface that no therapist was able to quite reach. Like an itch in the middle of your back that you can never fully get.
Consider this course your metaphorical back scratcher.
Because here’s the part of trauma healing in 2026 that I don’t see enough mental health professionals talk about:
You will never be able to really start recovering from trauma if you don’t address your own internalized neuronormativity, which stems directly from white supremacy culture.
Because if you exist in the current world as it exists today, you have been affected and harmed by white supremacy culture (WSC). All of us have - yes, even white people.
And if you’re also a late-realized auDHDer, that adds a whole new layer on top of the ways that WSC impacts you.
In fact, about 90% of the inner critic voices & shame I've helped clients work through in the last years has boiled down to an internalized toxic belief stemming from WSC. And once I'm able to point that out for them, everything changes.
I developed this course to help you name each of the 15 tenets of white supremacy, and understand how they apply to autistic ADHDers specifically, so you can actually start to recognize it in your self and your life and break all those damn toxic patterns keeping you stuck.

✅ You’re an adult auDHDer who’s been trying to heal for years but feel like there is still more to uncover
✅ You’re a teacher, therapist, social worker, or other helping professional who struggles to take your own advice
✅ You’re ready to start (or continue) your decolonization journey and recognize how white supremacy culture affects us all, so you can put a stop to it
✅ You’re passionate about social justice and know that WSC is pervasive, but want to be able to name the toxic patterns you notice in society and in your day to day life
✅ You’re exhausted (or even burned out) by grind culture and want permission to slow down and rest when you need to
✅ You’ve spent your life contorting your personality to make others comfortable and are ready to practice prioritizing your own needs and boundaries
❌ You’re not interested in exploring how white supremacy culture, capitalism, patriarchy, ableism etc. affect us all
❌ You push toxic positivity & believe autism and ADHD are strictly “superpowers” rather than validate the disabling reality of living under hyper-capitalism
❌ You’re looking for a “quick fix” to return to a more productive, heavily masked version of yourself rather than engaging in the messy, non-linear reality of trauma healing and recalibration
What You Get From This Course:
This two-hour workshop will give you:
✨ Confidence to actually move forward in your trauma healing journey without adhering to subconsious, neuronormative, impossible standards and "rules"
✨ The ability to spot WSC from a mile away, both in your day to day life and within yourself, so you can stop toxic patterns for good
✨ Permission to step into your full, radically authentic auDHD humanness so you can stop feeling like you have to pretend every day
✨ Reclaimation of rest and selfishness as radical community care, so you can actually show up to make the changes you want to see
✨ Intimate knowledge of how much shame is rooted in WSC culture so you can actually name it for what it is and stop letting shame stop you from meeting your needs
✨ Practical strategies for how to actually start unlearning internalized oppression in your day to day life
Hi, I'm Jes and I'm your gay stoner aunt & the fairy you met in the woods stacked on top of each other in a trench coat - but most people just call me an auDHD coach.
In my 4.5 years of working exclusively with late-realized auDHDers trying to recover from burnout and overcome perfectionism & people pleasing, there is one thing that's stood out the most to me when working with clients:
No amount of life hacks, strategies, or accommodations will help you make lasting, sustainable change if you're not also unpacking the pervasive, unavoidable conditioning we've all been subjected to under white supremacy & late stage capitalism.

So, I decided to make a course that outlines exactly the ways that WSC (white supremacy culture) impacts auDHDers, and give you actual tools, exercises, and strategies to help you spot it when it comes up and actually start unlearning all that BS.
Because the truth is, WSC is way more than just racism. It's in the way we relate to each other, speak to each other, think about ourselves and one another - it's everywhere.
And I want to help you name it. Because in 2026, we're done letting WSC hide in the shadows - especially our own shadows.
The way I see it, the more auDHDers who actually care about the state of the world and are able to actually call out toxic patterns when they pop up in the most unexpected crevices of our lives, the better it will be for literally everyone.
This course is your next small step towards collective liberation. Ready to take it?

Frequently Asked Questions:
Absolutely not! I actively reject the systemic “worship of the written word” that insists lived experiences are invalid without formal medical documentation. I fully believe in the validity of self-diagnosis, and I’m self-diagnosed autistic myself (though I do have an “official” ADHD diagnosis). If you relate to the things you’ve learned about the auDHD experience, that is enough “proof” for me.
This is a fundamentally low-demand, neuro-affirming space designed for your comfort and accessibility. Cameras are totally optional, and you are welcome to interact solely in the chat during the Q&A portion if you wish. You’re welcome to show up just as you are, and have explicit permission to move around stim, bring snacks, wear pajamas, lay down, or take breaks whenever you need to.
I can’t make it live. Will there be a recording?
Yes! The video, audio, and a transcript of the course will be posted by the Wednesday after the course for those who aren’t able to make it live.
See you there!
I strive to hold space and offer solutions that are human-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive of each individual’s lived experience and social identities. I have completed a trauma-informed space holding curriculum, am actively engaged in anti-racism study and work, and in deconstructing capitalistic standards and values.
I want to make it clear that I cannot guarantee a safe space for you. I recognize that you are the judge of what feels safe and expansive for you. My intention is to allow you to access your internal safety as best as you can in our current social climate through ample consent, choice, and clarity in our time together.
My offers and services are not meant to be a replacement for therapy. I will remain within my scope of practice when engaging with you and my work, and will refer out to qualified individuals for more aligned support when necessary.
I acknowledge the privileges I hold as a working class white American citizen with settler ancestry and post-secondary education who can pass as neurotypical, straight, and able-bodied. While my position as a queer, disabled, neurodivergent person has allowed me to generate more insights and compassion into these lived experiences, I am committed to listening, learning, decolonizing, and growing in regards to other areas.
With gratitude and respect, I acknowledge that the land on which I live and work is the stolen ancestral territory of the Haudenosaunee and Onondaga peoples. I aim to live in a way that centers reconciliation and meaningful relationship building between the people of this land and how we care for it. I invite you to reflect on your role in reconciliation and the Land Back movement at www.native-land.ca.
